The Place of Yellow Dust

Background:

The Yellow Repression happened when a large group of Yellow Eyes got together and when the Yellow Dust was the most dense, snuck up and killed a group of Green Eyes. This enhanced the fear the Green Eyes had for the Yellow Eyes. The Green Eyes then started finding a way to convert the Yellow Eyes into Green Eyes by using Eysology camps which blinded the first of the patients. It got so bad that green-eyed students started bringing weapons to school to hurt the Yellow Eyes. Also, there were times that students were dragged out of schools to be put into Eysology camps.

To try to protect their own, The Yellow Eyes formed a group called the Veyance that started hiding and protecting Yellow Eyes and breaking them out of the camps.

One day there was an explosion during one of their missions and many Yellow Eyes and Green Eyes were lost with their bodies unable to be found.

As the Repression went on, the dust only got worse, along with problems involving children still being born with Yellow Eyes even after conversion. The yellow dust came from the ground, where it was settled, but because of the energy waves used for conversion, it stirred up more of the yellow dust than before. They tried to make machines to slow the progression of the yellow dust, but it only made things worse. They tried vaporizing the dust with machines, but doing that created even more. Even when they tried to get rid of their dead, more yellow dust was lifted.

Because the Green Eyes could no longer convert, they made a wall separating the Yellow Eyes from the pure Green Eyes, hoping to save only themselves.

The yellow dust made crops impossible to grow, made it toxic for everyone to breathe, and created an illness called the Yellow Crust where their skin turned yellow and crusted and cracked, making bleeding trails before they died.
